EAST SIDE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE
Proposal for East Side Pedestrian Bridge connecting Shadyside to East Liberty in Pittsburgh, PA
Scale: 110 feet Length x 24-28 feet Width
East Liberty Development, Inc. (ELDI) is working with the City of Pittsburgh Office of Public Art on an exciting project that will connect the neighborhoods of East Liberty and Shadyside. The goal is to design a pedestrian corridor, including a pedestrian bridge, between the 2nd level of the Eastside development and Ellsworth Avenue. The bridge will be approximately 110 feet long and between 24 and 28 feet wide.
ELDI is a non-profit community development corporation whose mission is to foster the revitalization of East Liberty, a neighborhood located in the East End of Pittsburgh. ELDI works to increase business and residential development, promote public safety, improve public spaces and create a positive image for East Liberty.
