Museo Katonah – Katonah in situ – Galería Righter

Para OnSite Katonah, Grimanesa Amorós presenta esculturas en forma de burbujas que parecen flotar en la galería a oscuras. She constructs her own islands from polycarbonate and LED lights that shift in color to create glowing, futuristic forms. The works suggest the material innovation of both the Uros people and modern invention, while marrying the organic and technological. The artist has carefully positioned the sculptures and calibrated the gallery’s lighting to transform the space into a moody, immersive environment.
