When I was at the island of Taquile in Puno , or when I was among the Aborigines in the jungles of the Amazon or when I learned some of the Ashanti’s rituals in Africa, I understood that all of these cultures have a long tradition of meditation which lead me to understand the state of our minds that allows us to make a mental leap to enter different dimensions of our existence.
I believe that we are the owners of our own minds and lives, and it is important to eliminate the fear of pain, death, or the limitations that we are constantly putting upon ourselves every day this becomes a real obstacle between our dream and the reality we lived.
A dream and the reality of life, OCUPANTE was inspire on my first visit made to the Space Tabacalera in Madrid located in the very special neighborhood La Vapies. I will take the viewer on a trip through different physical spaces where dreams and reality interlude constantly and they become the occupants of their dreams and own realities.

Cuando estuve en la Isla de Taquile en Puno, o en medio de los aborígenes en la selva de la Amazonia o cuando estudié algunos de los rituales de los Ashanti en África, entendí que todas estas culturas tienen una larga tradición de meditación lo que me lleva a entender el estado de nuestras mentes. Esto nos permite dar un salto mental y entrar a diferentes dimensiones de nuestra existencia.
Creo que somos los dueños de nuestras propias mentes y vidas. Es importante eliminar el miedo al dolor, la muerte, o las limitaciones que siempre nos ponemos nosotros mismos cada día, lo cual se vuelve un verdadero obstáculo entre nuestro sueño y la realidad que vivimos.
Un sueño y la realidad de la vida, OCUPANTE se inspiró en mi primera visita al Espacio Cultural La Tabacalera en Madrid ubicado en un vecindario muy peculiar Lavapiés. Voy a llevar al espectador a un viaje a través de diferentes espacios físicos donde los sueños y la realidad intermedian constantemente y se convierten en los ocupantes de sus sueños y sus propias realidades.
