The imagery in La Procesión is purposefully subtle. The mere suggestion of so grave a theme as death is apt to evoke reflections on the part of the viewer. The restrained, calm quality of the visuals is zenhanced by the soundtrack, which was created especially for the video by the composer Omar Ajluni. I want vieweres to see their own experiences reflected in this video, and to realize perhaps some of their deeper, more unconscious attitudes vis-à-vis the visage of death.
En La Procesión las imágenes son intencionalmente sutiles. La simple sugerencia de un tema tan serio como la muerte se presta para evocar reflexiones por parte del espectador. La limitada cualidad de calma de las imágenes es realzada por la banda sonora, creada especialmente para el video por el compositor Omar Ajluni. Quiero que los espectadores vean reflejadas sus propias experiencias en este video y que quizás comprendan algunas de sus más profundas e inconscientes actitudes frente al rostro de la muerte.
