HUANCHACO  on display in Mexico City, Mexico

HUANCHACO, inspired by the historic fishing village in northern Peru, is a remarkable art installation located inside La Torre de Los Vientos (the Wind Tower), a towering 40-foot concrete sculpture. This site is part of the iconic “Ruta de la Amistad” (Route of Friendship) sculptural complex in Mexico City, Mexico, which symbolizes cross-cultural unity.

Presented by MUTEK, a global platform dedicated to digital creativity in sound, music, and audiovisual arts, this one-night event at La Torre de Los Vientos was a collaboration with the Mexico 68 project. HUANCHACO brought together the realms of digital art and cultural heritage, offering a unique experience that celebrated both Peruvian influences and digital creativity.
