Curated by Angelica Semmelbauer, A View All Their Own explores process, materiality, and the distinct visual languages developed through making. The exhibition spans painting, sculpture, photography, works on paper, installation, and mixed media, with each practice shaped by a singular relationship to materials.

Grimanesa Amorós presents three works from CAPPED WAVES, Iridescent (2025), a series of lighting sculptures drawn from her childhood memories of Lima’s Pacific coast, where the forming and vanishing of ocean foam first shaped her fascination with the ephemeral. Their mirrored stainless-steel surfaces and handmade silkscreens shift with the viewer’s position, while LED sequences composed second by second evoke crashing waves, drifting foam, and changing skies. Within an exhibition centered on materiality and process, the series reflects her conviction that light is both material and fleeting, and that memory, like foam, persists even as it dissolves.
