Water Cube: la memoria dell’acqua

It opens the show the spectacular performance “Damp Room” realized by the performer Massimiliano Manieri, from Lecce, that he plays in interactive way with the spectator. The artist realizes a temporal short-circuit between present and past in a game of absolute spatial. A damp room in which it is strong the environmental call to first impact but also the reflex with the other, the meeting among “the bogy man” and the white man, the alien, he who come from a superior state, from an endless purity and that he mirrors, his although in an ocean of wreckages and oil. In the performance there am a to follow him of calls to the sense of the life, to the sense of the world (passage-birth-change) to the sense of space of sharing and transmission (the water) and in which the spectator becomes protagonist, dipping himself in the water, to find again once more his memory.

Apre la mostra la spettacolare performance “Damp Room” ideata e realizzata dal performer pugliese Massimiliano Manieri che gioca in maniera interattiva con lo spettatore. L’artista realizza uno cortocircuito temporale tra presente e passato in un gioco di straniamento spaziale assoluto.

Una stanza “umida”, atemporale, in cui a primo impatto è forte il richiamo ambientalista ma anche il riflesso con l’altro, l’incontro tra “l’uomo nero” e l’uomo bianco, l’alieno, colui che viene da uno stato superiore, da una purezza infinita e che si rispecchia, suo malgrado in un oceano di relitti e petrolio. Nella performance ci sono un susseguirsi di richiami al senso della vita, al senso del mondo (Passaggio-nascita-mutamento) al senso di spazio di condivisione e trasmissione (l’acqua) e in cui lo spettatore diventa protagonista, elgi stesso, immergendosi nell’acqua, per ritrovare ancora una volta la sua memoria.
