祖国ぺルーが、NY で光のドローイングに昇華。 Homeland Peru is sublimated into a drawing of light in New York. DOWNLOAD PDF ソーホーの南、トライベッカにスタ ジオを構えるグリマネサ・アモロス。 ビルの入り口では、天井に設置された ライト・スカルプチャーがお出迎え。 泡をつなげたようなドーム型のオブジ ェがやわらかな光を放っている。 4階の彼女のスタジオを埋めるの は、空間のドローイングともいうべき チューブの曲線だ。そのチューブの中 を幾千もの光の粒が膨らんでは消えて いく。キネティックでオーガニック。 微かに色を帯びた光によって、曲線は 7色の光の饗宴を生み出す。 「コンピュータ制御の発光システム は、設置場所や人の動きを考慮して組 み立てます。スタジオはラボみたいな もので、ここにあるのはモックアップ。 実際の作品は、高さ5ｍはあるかな」 　完成作は、昨年秋、メキシコ市内の 彫刻ホールに恒久設置された。 「チューブの材質はポリカーボネー ト。ガラスより丈夫で、しかも柔軟性 がある。中の光は発光ダイオードだか ら、ほら触ってみて。冷たいまま」 … Continue reading →
